Can I change the way my brokerage reported my capital gain from FIFO to LIFO? Vanguard doesn't provide a LIFO option on their website.

LIFO would be much more advantageous to me since the earliest shares of this stock I purchased have a very low basis.

you must inform your brokerage that you want LIFO and get confirmation before you place the order to sell.
