Can i claim a child that lives in my home that's already been claimed

If the child is already claimed, your return would be rejected if your return claimed the child. If the child was claimed unjustly, the person who claimed the child can amend their return and remove the claim, thus allowing you to claim the child. Otherwise, you will not be able to claim the child.
