Can i claim an adult child if he only earned 9000 and was living with us?

just out of prison 7/21 got job in 9/21 made 9000. can i claim him and how do i figure it if so?

No.   If he had more than $4300 of income --not counting Social Security---in 2021 he cannot be claimed as anyone else's dependent.
