Can I claim my mother who is on disability, she moved in with my husband and I last April. She made more than the 4700. Can we still claim her on state not fed?

You have not told us what state you are in so we do not know the criteria for claiming a dependent in your state. If you cannot claim her on a federal return you probably cannot claim her on a state return. As for your federal return.....you say your mom was on disability but you do not mention what kind. Was it some sort of disability through an employer? Or from Social Security? And... before she went on the disability----did she have over $4700 of income from other sources? Or are you counting the disability?
