Can I also claim my wife’s child who is not biologically mine?

No you don’t claim your wife as a dependent.  A spouse is never a dependent.  You file a Joint return for both of you combined even if only one person has income.  You can claim her child on the Joint return.

Are you doing a 2017 return?  Have you started yet?  TurboTax Online for TY17 will no longer be available to new customers beginning 10/16/18.

Customers who have not yet e-filed their returns will not be able to do so after Oct. 15, 2018 11:59pm your time.  If the return is complete, they will be able to print the return to mail it by going to My Tax Home, or My Docs.
