Can i claim my wife for previus tax years?

For a number of reason, i havent made my taxes since 2015, now im preparing all those forms, but the thing is,my wife just got his SSN  on November 2019, before that, she didn'thave any TIN, at the moment of filling my 2016 taxes, could my filling status be married Filling Jointly? even tho my wife didn't have any TIN at that year?

    As long as you were legally married during those tax years, you can file jointly with your wife using her new social security number.   

     

    You can use TurboTax to prepare those returns but they cannot be filed electronically.  You will need to print and mail the returns.
