I paid for gap insurance when we purchased an RV in 2016.  Can I claim this?

No, you cannot claim gap insurance on an RV used for personal purposes. It is considered personal expense and is not tax deductible. However, if the RV is used for business, it may be part of your vehicle expense deduction as a business expense.
