Can I claim Tesla purchased from Copart auction?

    To claim the Clean Vehicle Tax Credit, the vehicle must be purchased from a licensed dealer who provides a time-of-sale report and submits the required information to the IRS. 

     

    Since Copart is an auction and not a licensed dealer, vehicles purchased through their auctions typically may not meet these criteria
