Question

Can I clam my husband as a dependent. He has cancer can't work no more I'm the only one work? It's a blood cancer there's no cure for it they can only treat it.

He's  cancer is in his blood and it's attacking his bones. He hasn't been working for over a year now. The doctors told him that he was done. He only has 30 to35 percent rate to still be her with mr.

By filing Married Filing Jointly you have already claimed him as a dependent.  Since we've already started the new year you will be able to claim him again this year.
