Can I deduct the health insurance premiums that I paid through the market place? I chose not to participate with my employers plan. I did not receive a 1095 -A

If you paid health insurance premiums out-of-pocket, you can deduct them as Medical expenses if you itemize your deductions.

I you had a Marketplace policy, you should have received form 1095-A. If you have not received it yet, you can download it from www.healthcare.gov
