W2 Employer is from Puerto Rico, but don't have the option to select Puerto Rico as a State.

Do you have a US W-2 or a Puerto Rico W-3PR? Puerto Rico has its own tax system and income tax forms which TurboTax does not support.

If you have a US W-2 with an address in Puerto Rico:

  1. Enter the Box - b Employer ID Number (EIN) or Federal ID
  2. Select Type it in myself on How do you want to enter your W‑2?
  3. On Address type change from US Address to US Possession
  4. Enter the Puerto Rico address

If you're a resident of Puerto Rico during the entire tax year, you generally aren't required to file a US federal income tax return if your only income is from sources within Puerto Rico.

If you have income from sources outside of Puerto Rico, including from US sources, you're required to file a US federal income tax return if such amount is above the U.S. filing threshold.

Nevertheless, a bona fide resident of Puerto Rico with a US filing obligation, generally won't report Puerto Rican source income on a US income tax return.
