Question

Can I file a W4 with a non-residential FL address at the same time that I am working and residing in NY? Or will this cause problems/extra tax on my return?

Florida has no state income tax.  What are you trying to do?

I'm starting a remote second job in FL, while residing in NY. The employer has asked for a W4 with a FL address, to file through FL rather than NY. I'm just wondering if this will cause any issues by putting my old FL address on the form, when I'm not a resident there any more. Thanks!
