Can I file for 1st and 2nd stimulus check if I never got them?

First check your tax account with the IRS and see if the IRS shows that the stimulus payments were sent - https://www.irs.gov/payments/your-online-account

If the IRS shows the payment being sent then you will have to get the IRS to trace the payments.  Go to this IRS website for tracing a stimulus payment - https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/second-eip-faqs

 

Reply back if the tax account does not show the payment being sent.
