Can I file my son stimulus check while he is in prison.

Your son can file a 2020 income tax return to receive the first two stimulus amounts if he did not receive those checks.

The IRS is sending out the third checks right now, but they may not have record of your son. Once he files his return, he will be on the list to get the third check.

You can file for free with the IRS Free File Program delivered by TurboTax. You can prepare the forms, print them out and your son can sign and mail them.
