Please explain what you mean by "file my taxes over."  Did you already file a 2019 return?  Was it accepted?

Yes I filed in February and haven’t gotten any tax money back yet or a stimulus check . I want to amend my taxes because I think the person who filed mine did it wrong

No.  You do not amend a tax return until it has been fully processed.  If you have not received a refund yet that can be for a variety of reasons---which could include that the person who prepared the return messed it up. But filing an amended return before the original return has been processed would just confuse the situation and delay your refund more.

 

And....if the return was e-filed and accepted, it is impossible for you to e-file another 2019 return.

 

Determine whether your return was even accepted when it was e-filed.  And get a copy of it from whoever filed it.

Do you have the refund amount from line 20 of the Form 1040?

 

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
