I'm not sure I understand your question.  Can you clarify please?

If you received income for Paid Family Leave, it will either be reported on a Form 1099-G or on your W-2 wage form.

You should report your income as reported on each of the respective forms.

To enter you W-2 information, go to the Federal section of the program.

  1. Select Income & Expenses
  2. Select Job (W-2)
  3. Click Edit/Add to the right of the Job (W-2)
  4. The next page will have boxes that say "Add a W-2 for..."Select the appropriate taxpayer and enter the information for each W-2.

If you have a 1099-G form, go to the federal interview section.

  1. Select Income & Expenses
  2. Scroll down to All Income and select Unemployment.
  3. Select Unemployment and paid family leave
  4. Proceed through the screens and enter the information as prompted.
  5. When you see the screen that says Let's get the details from your 1099-G, enter your information as reported on your 1099-G.
