Paying your TurboTax fee did not file your tax return. You can still finish preparing your return and e-file it when you are ready to file. You might need to click on "add a state" to trick the software into letting you back in.

Your return is not e-filed until you go all the way through the FILE section and click a big orange button that says "Transmit my returns now."
