Can I get Live help / chat if I order the PC/Windows version of Turbo Tax?

Is Live help / chat with a CPA or Tax Expert available for users of the PC/ Windows version? If so, how do I get it and how much does it cost?

I was browsing through the help menus on my 2019 version and somehow got onto a browser screen that showed "Live" help for $19.99. But I can't figure out how to get back to it.

No, TurboTax Live is available for TurboTax Online customers only. TurboTax Live isn't available in the TurboTax CD/Download software. For more information about TurboTax Live, please see What is TurboTax Live?

You can go back and jump around.  Or to clear and start over in the Desktop program you need to start a new return.  Go up to File-New.

I talked on the phone with a TurboTax Expert about my 2020 return - He told me that I disdn't have to file because almost All of my income was Social Security - He further stated that only 1/2 of the Social Security income is counted in your Gross Income - if that is the case, I maybe didn't have to payso much Tax in 2019.

I think that my return needs to be reviewed and hopefully I will get a Refund from 2019. My income for 2019

was Social Security plus a withdrawal from my wife's IRA

The withdrawal from your wife's IRA is significant, and may have pushed you into a taxable situation.

To find out if their benefits are taxable, you should:

    • Take one half of both of your Social Security money collected during the year and add it to your other income.

Other income includes pensions, wages, interest, dividends and capital gains.

If you are married filing jointly, they should take half of their Social Security, plus half of their spouse's Social Security, and add that to all their combined income.

If that total is more than $32,000, then part of their Social Security may be taxable.

Would you please clarify your question. What import numbers are double specifically?
