If you have a pdf file you just open it in your pdf reader program like Adobe.  You don't use Turbo Tax.  Or are you trying to transfer or import it into Turbo Tax?  Or open it?  You need the .tax2022 file to open in the Desktop program.

Save the tax file from Online

The TurboTax desktop software cannot open a PDF file. To open a tax return in the desktop software you need the .tax20xx data file for the return. And you have to use the software for the same year that the data file is for.

Please explain what you are trying to do, and be specific about the year or years. Are you trying to amend a tax return that you filed, start a new tax return, or something else?
