Can I itemize my deductions if I am married filing separately and spouse is foreign and will not file in US?

You always have the option of itemizing with the MFS status, as long as the expenses were paid by you. The only problem would be that if you itemize, he would lose his standard deduction and be required to itemize any expense he could.
