    You can file Federal now and skip state or do state later

    To not pay for state now you can delete it. You can add it back again later if you want.

    Yes.  Just do not start a state tax return.  When finished with the federal return, complete Federal Review.  Click on File.

    You can file just your federal return using TurboTax if you want to.   If you want to use your state's tax site to prepare your state return, for example, you may do that.  Do you need to delete a state return?
