Question

Can I purchase the "Max" benefits after filing my taxes with TurboTax? I need to assess ID Theft monitoring situation before spending $69, but 15th almost here.

Due to the widespread information breaches, especially of the medical professions, I may have enough monitoring that comes free from the companies that have been breached. But I won't have enough time to look into it before filing.

No, you can not purchase MAX after you've filed your tax return

 

You can add MAX anytime before you file your return.

Here's how to get MAX benefits before filing:

  1. Open or continue your return.
  2. Select File.
  3. Select Start or Revisit next to Step 1: Review your order.
  4. Select Add MAX, then Add MAX and Continue.
