Question

Can I report nanny income for 2 different families, both making less than $2600 under misc income?

I was guided to less common income and listed under household employee, but there was only one box. Should I combine the two? If I do, it is over the $2600. But the IRS says you can have more than one employer and the $2600 rule applies to each separately.

Yes, you can.  Keep records in case of an inquiry.   The $2600 limit is per employer, so if you have 2 employers, you can combine them.
