Can I still file taxes even my tax documents for stocks are not ready or Can I file taxes with w2 and file my stock taxes later when they are ready?

Is there a penalty I have to pay?
will my return will process, with out any trouble?

No wait for all your income.  You should file a complete return.  What stock items do you need to enter?  Sales, interest or dividends?  If you have sales or get a 1099B  you will need to upgrade to Premier version.   If these transactions were in a IRA or 401K account you don't need to enter them.

If you qualify you can use one of the 8 IRS FREE FILE options ... for 2021 your AGI has to be $73K or less … log in thru the IRS link ...

You have to report all of your income on one tax return. If you file by April 18 there will be no penalty and you will not have any trouble. If you cannot file by April 18, you can file a form, or an online request, to get an extension to October 17. If you are getting a refund, there is no penalty even if you file late.
