Can I still receive my 2019 tax return at the end of the year?

Yes you can.  If you are getting a tax refund you have up to three years to file the return and receive the refund.  If you delay longer than three years past the filing deadline, you forfeit the refund.  You have until October 15, 2020 to e-file a 2019 return.  After that, e-filing will close permanently and your 2019 return will have to be printed signed and mailed.
