Can I transfer my tax return from Turbotax for Windows (saved on my computer) to Turbotax Online?

My Turbotax Online account has several years of tax returns. I purchased Turbotax at Costco this year, and filed my return for 2021 through Turbotax for Windows. I'd like to consolidate all returns in my online account. How can I import the 2021 tax return to the online account?

There is no way to move a tax return from TurboTax for Windows to TurboTax Online.

If you use TurboTax Online next year for your 2022 tax return, you will be able to transfer information from the 2021 tax return on your computer when you start your 2022 tax return. To transfer the information you will need the .tax2021 data file that is saved on your computer.
