Can I transfer my wife's tax returns to our joint account so we can access them?

She used a free version of turbo tax at the time before we married and wont allow us to access her 2019 return. In order to do so it says to file her 2020 return with the appropriate product. But of course, we already filed jointly for 2021 and 2020.

Sorry no. You can not merge accounts. Did she use the Turbo Tax Free version or the IRS Free File from Turbo Tax? She should be able to get a copy of her return.

If you can't get the side menus to open up to access the prior year..... You need to start entering some basic Personal Info in 2021 for the side menu to open up. Just continue a little ways into 2021.
