Can I use the Deluxe version of Turbo Tax to report minor sales of a book through Amazon? I don't want to use the self-employed version if I don't have to.

I may have a few expenses to report, but prob not worth to purchase higher level turbotax version. Thanks.

No, it is not a matter of whether or not you wish to take expenses. You earned this income as a self-employed individual, not as an employee.

This income would be considered self employment income and would be reported on Schedule C.
