Can I use turbotax software as a tax application for my class? If so, will the SSN provided on textbook can be processed by Turbotax?

Are you asking about the CD/download version installed on classroom computers or the web based online version?
What do you mean by "SSN provided on textbook"?    Do you mean  a "dummy" SSN?
