Can somebody please tell me why my tax withheld is $1819 but my tax refund is $1231. Why aren’t they the same because I have already asked 3 employees of mine and all their tax refunds were the e

Your tax withholding is not a savings account.

If everyone got everything back, the govt would soon go out of business. And there would be no reason to even have an income tax system.

You do not always get back all of the tax that was withheld.  Why do you think you should be getting it all back?

Because I’ve checked with 3 of my associates I’ve worked with and they got the same exact amount back that was withheld

There are a lot of variables that go into calculating your refund--if you even get one.  It depends on your filing status (married, single, etc.) , how much you earned, how much was withheld,  if you have dependents, how old those dependents are, whether you can be claimed as a dependent on someone else's tax return, etc. etc. etc.  So you are comparing your tax refund with your co-workers?  Print out your tax returns and lay them side by side and compare them line by line to see what is different on them.
