TurboTax does not and cannot receive a stimulus payment from any taxpayer. Only the IRS has information on how and where a stimulus payment is being paid.

I have read that the stimulus payments were directed to the temporary accounts Turbo Tax created for those of us who paid extra to get the tax refund advance. The reason a lot of us haven’t received our stimulus checks is because whatever bank Turbo Tax uses, has yet to reject payments. So is the problem with green dot or turbo tax for not providing the irs with the correct banking info? Why wasn’t the irs provided with the account number issued through the turbo card?
