Can someone else pay for my taxes?

My mother is going to pay my tax liability from last year. Is it possible for her to either: mail a check directly? Direct debit from her own bank account? Charge her credit card? How?

Or would she have to give the money to me so I can pay myself?

Your mother can pay your taxes using her bank account or a debit or a credit card. See the IRS options: Payment Options: Pay Online, Installment Plans and More - IRS.gov.

Your mother would have to have your tax return, so she could enter the information that the IRS requires.

when filing someone else return using turbo tax, can I use direct debit using my bank account? would IRS check bank account owner's name?
