All of the error codes have to do with Form W-2 entries.  Check your tax return to insure that all the information on your W-2s has been entered correctly.

Fw2-001-02 FW2-502 - Form W-2, Line B 'Employer EIN' must match data in the eFile database.

IND-423 F1040-034-05 Your federal income tax withheld, Form 1040, line 17, does not match the information you entered, or failed to enter in your return, or you have ...

I had the same reject code.   I double checked my W2 entries and they were correct.  However, when I went to forms view and looked at the W2 that Turbo Tax actually filed it had an amount in Box 10 (same amount that was in box 11).  That had to be an error in Turbo Tax because my W2 was imported from my employer and, again, it did not have any entry in box 10.  That mistake affects Schedule 1 Form 1040 input T8, which adds "Other Income" to your 1040.  I believe the error is saying I had more income than what was reported for total wages tips and other compensation box 1 on my W2.   You should also check Income line 1a to be sure it agrees to what is shown on your W2's.  The fix is to edit Box 10 in Turbo Tax Forms to agree with the actual entry on your W2, in my case $0.  That seemed to fix the issue because now I no longer have "Other Income" and also line 1a now agrees with my totals from W2's.  Hopefully this helps.  I'm surprised Turbo Tax did not catch this when checking for errors before submitting a return.

I have the exact same problem. I had the same amount in line 10 as in line 11.  I did as you said, and corrected both of my W2's and removed the incorrect amount. Turbo Tax didn't like the 0.00 and had me change it to leave it blank.  I started down the road again to file it, however when I checked the return it still has a schedule 1 and an entry on line 8 of the 1040.  Line 1A is also still blank.  Do you know what I should do to get the entries in the correct location?

Although you did answer WHAT the reject code meant....I was hoping to read what to do to fix that error. The Turbo Tax Help page tells us to ask the customer to sign into TT account and then select FIX MY RETURN and follow the instructions. The system will take our customer thru a step by step process to fix this.

In  Intuit's Training in a Case Study I had this question asked of me. I answered that the customer should sign in to the Turbo Tax account and select FIX MY RETURN and follow the instructions. That answered was WRONG according to the Training??? I believe the Training module has it wrong. Maybe someone can check?
