TurboTax is a self-prepared platform. If your 2019 tax return is incorrect and you have filed it already, did the IRS contact you about the issue or did you find the problem later on your own. Because if IRS has contacted you about this issue you should work with the IRS to resolve this and do not file an amended. However, if you found this error on your own, you may amend the return to correct it. Here is how to amend:

You can amend and mail your 2019 tax return as long as your original return was accepted in TurboTax Online or TurboTax CD/Download. You can’t amend a return that hasn’t been filed yet.
