Question

Can't e-file, should I ditch Schedule C?

I haven't worked my side gig in several years, and the Schedule C form just keeps getting reimported from previous returns. From reviewing the Intuit forums, I gather that Schedule C is the problem for e-filing. Is there any harm in just deleting Schedule C so I can e-file? Paid USPS to mail my return one year and still don't know if it ever made it to the IRS. Winded up e-filing that year when a glitch on my company's end was cleared up. So filing by mail would be an awful option for me.

I'm using the desktop version of TurboTax Deluxe on a Mac. Couldn't find as of 1/30/24. Tried last night, too, the "official" opening of the IRS tax season.

Hung up on filing electronically due to a blank line that it says needs to be deleted.  Doesn't allow it to be deleted.  Won't file. Due at Midnight
