Can't Edit "Bank or Brokerage" field for a 1099B Entry

I entered some prelim data in TTax with some placeholder names on the "Bank or Brokerage" field for my 1099Bs.  I need to edit the name used for the 1099B but it appears to not be editable while the DIV and INT entities (Payer Name) are.  I discovered TTax will consolidate the listing of a similarly named Payer which makes things neat and tidy, but not sure whether it will pull in the 1099B or not.  In the end I want the recording on the final tax form to be the Bank or Brokerage name I choose, not my placeholder.

I see no way to edit it and I don't even see a way to delete an entry so I could restart the entry which I don't want to do but I could as a fallback.

Am I missing something here that the name for the 1099B is locked once you enter it?

if on desktop go into Forms mode and edit the name directly on the 1099-B form worksheet.  agree it seems you can't get back to it via EasyStep edit.  I used forms mode as much as possible this year to avoid the disastrous UI redesign.  Not sure equivalent if you are using TT online.

Tks... I just discovered I needed to go into the Forms mode and down deep into he worksheet to edit it.  It would sure be nice if this simple edit was available in the EasyStep mode.   "Disastrous"... yah it needs some work.  🙂
