can't file

Can't file.  I get a message  "There is an update available for your version of TuboTax. Before you can file electronically.....

So I check for updates and the reply is everything is up to date.

The I try to  file and get "YThere is a update...."

 

How do you get past this?

    IF you are on a Windows Computer:

     

    1) Shut  down TTX  (save your file first)

    2) Completely  Reboot your computer.

    3) download and run the Manual Update  (can take 5-10 min to install on W10).

    4) Restart your TTX software, open your tax file, and run thru the Federal dn State error checks again.
