Can’t file CA State taxes for free , why?

I see that you are using TurboTax Deluxe which has an additional fee for filing your State taxes.  Please click this TurboTax product guide to learn more.

You get the software for free with certain versions but there is still a fee to file it with the state.  So you can pay the fee or print off the return and sign and send to the state.
