Can't import 1099 from Charles Schwab in 2023 Turbotax Desktop

I am using Desktop Turbotax 2023 on a PC.  I have successfully imported 1099s from other brokers.  When I try to do it from Charles Schwab, it first says "We'll open a tab in your default web browser to get started with your Charles Schwab & Co Inc import.  Select OK to continue".  I hit OK and it opens a new browser window on Schwab.  I go through the process to select my account I want to download.  On the browser, it then says "Connection complete!" and "Success!  We got your tax data.  You can now return to TurboTax."

But, nothing happens after this.  If I hit the "Continue" button on Turbotax, it starts the whole process over again.

How do I import my 1099s from Schwab?

I figured out the problem.  My default browser is Brave.  This has various pop-up blockers and other "shields".  After I turned off the Brave Shields, I tried the import again and it worked.  It seems there is a step where the browser is used to transfer date to the desktop and this must have been blocked by the Brave Shields.

Thank you! You saved my life - I was about to have a stroke screaming at TurboTax 😉
