Can't print or save to pdf

Federal and state were e-filed but now I can't save a copy or even print it. I have Home and Business 2024 which I've used for several years to do my family and friends taxes. Never had a problem until this year. I filed mine fine and printed. After efiling my friend's return, I wasn't able to print or download a copy. It doesn't say why, just doesn't give me the option to save when I get the pop up box.

No updates are available. Please advise. (Windows version, btw)

Thanks

You may try to remove the WA state return, if it is a tax return.  Click on Forms.  When in Forms mode click on the File menu at the top left of the desktop program screen, then click on Remove State Return.

If that does not work or is not available.  See if you can change how this WA return is filed.  Click on the File tab.  Then select File by Mail.  Select Do not print mail my federal return to file by mail at this time.  Finish the section and then see if you can Print or Save the return as a PDF.

So what happens when you click on File and the Print/Save for Your Records.  Then Save a PDF, then Preview Print Copy?  Can you view the PDF?

Thanks for getting back to me.

The regular pop up comes up but there's no option to print or save. I tried both printing and saving as a pdf. The Form Selection screen pops up telling me to E-file state now but also says that Washington return isn't available to print or view.

But I really don't care about the Washington state return. I just want to be able to save the federal return. There's no option to print or save or even remove the state from the list.

I've thought about removing the state from the file since Washington state doesn't have income tax, but not sure if I can.

Any thoughts?

Interesting. I had similar problem here in NC. So, I opened in Forms, then tried to save as PDF. I was able to do this. It saved both Federal and State. I then printed the PDF. So, I now have both Federal and Stated in PDF and printed.

I'm having the same problem--I can't get a PDF or a printed copy of my return at the "Save for Your Records" page OR using the "File => Print" pathway. This is true even if I only try to print the Federal return (unchecking the state returns). I have to file in three states, so I can't just eliminate those state returns. I've never had this problem after more than a decade with TurboTax.

Is there any way to contact a live Intuit/TurboTax human (I have TurboTax Advantage) to help me create a PDF I can review?
