Can't save Turbo Tax Premier Data File

I just installed Turbo Tax on my PC from the CD media and fully updated it.  Now whenever I try to save my current file I keep a dialogue box stating the following.

C:\Users\thejo\Documents\TurboTax\2021 Church J Form 1040 Individual Tax Return.tax2021

File not found.

Check the file name and try again.

My PC has the current version of Windows 10 installed.  I can't prepare my return unless I can save it.

Please advise.

This reply from user cp458 solved the problem on Windows 10.

You have to allow an app to the controlled folder access. THIS IS ONLY IF YOU ARE WINDOWS DEFENDER (NOT A 3RD PARTY ANTI-VIRUS - like McAffee or Norton).  Do the following.

    1. Windows Security App (search for this in the Windows 10 search box or windows tray)

    2. Virus & threat protection settings (click on manage settings)

    3. Controlled Folder Access

    4. Allow an app through Controlled folder access (click on this)

    5. + Add an allowed app (it is a box - click on this)

    6. Recently blocked apps (it is a box - click on this)

    7. Select Turbo Tax (a plus sign to the left)

    8. Problem solved.
