Question

Can you check if I’m filling my taxes from 2018 and 2019? Says I’ll be getting $1008 for both years. Seems pretty low not sure if I’m doing it correctly. Thanks.

No one can see your return or check anything for you, but I can tell you that if you are trying to file 2018 and 2019 tax years on the same return that is a no-no!!  Do NOT prepare 2 years in one return!

Hopefully you haven't yet filed the return!!

Online TurboTax is only for 2019 returns.   To prepare a 2018 return with TurboTax you have to purchase the 2018 desktop software (CD/download) and install it on your computer.

Do NOT file the incorrect return you prepared with the 2 years of info.   To prepare the 2019 return, you should clear it out  (i.e., erase what you've done) and start over from scratch with only 2019 information.   Here's how to do that:

Here's where you can buy the 2018 software directly from TurboTax.

I would prepare the 2018 return first, then you can transfer 2018 info into your 2019 return later.    The 2018 return cannot be efiled.  It has to be printed, signed, dated, and mailed.  If you have both Federal and State returns, you mail them separately to the respective tax agencies.
