Can you explain why when I import 1099B with an expired Rights issue and $0 gain/loss into Turbotax it shows up with a loss in thousands in Turbotax instead of $0?

I had only two trades and both were  purchases of that security only. Never exercised the rights issue which defaults to a sale with $0 proceeds, $0 cost basis and $0 Gain/loss on the 1099B.

No, I can't explain why the transaction doesn't import correctly.  I recommend you delete the download and enter your transactions manually.
