Can I use a turbotax package or two packages to file in both Canada and the US?

You would need to buy each one separately.

For US.......The Online versions won't open until December. You can buy the Desktop CD/Download program now here

The US and Canada software is completely different from each other.

You would have to use the US software for the US return, either US online editions or the US desktop CD/Download editions.
