Cannot E-File 1095-A Same Marketplace Policy Number

I have two 1095-A forms from New York State because of a qualified change in our health plans mid-year. Both 1095-A forms have the same Marketplace policy numbers. TurboTax will not allow me to e-file (which is required in NYS) because of the duplicate policy numbers.  Now what?

Yes, you can enter your 1095-A forms as one form by combining the information.

If your two 1095-A forms don't overlap in any given month, simply enter the amounts for each month on the same form in TurboTax.

For example, if your first form has information for January through June and the second one has July through December, enter the first one as it is and then add the July through December information in the same form.

If you do have overlapping information for one month or more, you will need to add together the amounts for that month. You can do this for column (a) and (c), but not for column (b).

This is from the IRS instructions for Form 8962: "If you have more than one Form 1095-A affecting a particular month, add the amounts together for that month and enter the total on the appropriate line on Form 8962, column (a)."
