Capital loss carry over is stuck in a loop on app and doesn’t add?

    What kind of problem are you seeing?  Are you using TurboTax Online or TurboTax Desktop?

     

    You may find that you need to close out of TurboTax and clear cache and cookies.  You may consider accessing TurboTax Online through a different browser.

     

    In TurboTax Premium Online, you want to remove or correct a capital loss carryover to 2024.  Follow these steps:

     

    1. Enter 'capital loss carryover' in the Search magnifying glass in the upper right hand corner of the screen.  Enter.
    2. Select 'Jump to capital loss carryover'.  Enter.
    3. At the screen Here's what we have, select Edit to remove or correct the information.

    Review the 2023 Federal 1040 income tax return to make sure that the correct information is reported.
