Schwab statement lists capitol gains on Form 1099 Div. They are listed as distributions and a 1099 B was not sent to me.  At final review TT is asking me to complete a 1099B worksheet for my records.  Is this an error?

on the 1099-DIV form in TurboTax, there is a line for capital gain distributions from line 2a on the 1099 composite (DIV) form.  do not answer yes to having security sales if you did not. the 2a amount is not a sale but is treated as a long-term capital gain. if you had no security sales there won't be a chedule D in the return.
