How can I adjust figures in current tax filing?

If you haven't filed yet you can simply correct them in the TurboTax program.

If you've already filed you must wait.

The first step is was your return accepted or rejected?
If rejected you can correct the rejection problem and then correct the W-2.
If accepted you will have to wait until the IRS has completely processed your return.
- If the error was significant you may get an IRS letter.
- If you don't get an amended tax return.
