Question

Changed filing status from married filing separate to filing jointly. The box under filing separate is still on but filing jointly is on too. How do i get that off?

wont let me efile state because the filing separate box under filing separate is still on and wont go away.

If you have not filed, I will suggest you to return to the "My Info" section to edit. 

 

In TurboTax online,

  • Sign back into your account, select Pick up where you left off
  • On left menu, select "My Info"
  • On "Personal Info Summary" screen, go down to Married Filing section to edit.
