Charles Schwab tax forms not importing in TurboTax

Charles Schwab released their tax forms and I also have 3rd party enabled for TurboTax on their site.

But when I try to import Charles Schwab forms Turbo Tax Premier (desktop -mac) shows this message below in the screen "Sign on to Charles Schwab & Co., Inc"  before even prompting me to enter my login info. There's nothing wrong with internet connection and I am able to import other forms. Please let me know what I may be missing. Thank you.

"This import was unsuccessful.

We recommend you check your internet connection and try again. If we still can't get your info, don't worry. We'll help you enter it manually so you can keep working on your taxes."

i had the same problem earlier today. i went to schwab.com, changed my schwab online password, then logged back in to schwab to be sure i saw my 1099 forms were available, then exited turbotax, fired turbotax back up, and started the process to import from them again.  it worked after that. good luck.

I ran into the same problem today 2/26/2023 and could not get TT to import my Charles Schwab Accounts.  Saw the post about changing my password and exiting TT and then trying again. This did not work.  I decided to use a different browser and this worked.  My default Brave browser was able to authenticate my connection but the tax information never imported into the program.  When I temporarily changed my default browser to FireFox then the complete process worked fine.   Lesson learned:  Try a different browser.  Hey TT - please test Charles Schwab import with Brave browser - I'm pretty sure you have an issue there.

I had same problem - importing data from Fidelity to TurboTax Premier CD ROM/download to desktop.  After consulting with TurboTax rep, I resolved the problem by using TurboTax Premier on-line.  It worked perfectly.  Fortunately, Fidelity allows its clients to use TurboTax Premier on-line at no cost - it’s free!  It’s a better product/service than the CD-ROM/ download.  I reported this issue to TurboTax.  It’s  unclear why they haven’t addressed the problem.

I can't transfer 1099 from Vanguard, Robinhood and E-trade. I switched browser to Edge too, still giving me this message....This import was unsuccessful, internal server error!!! Are there steps to take after switching to Edge to make it works?

If that's not working, you may want to check and make sure your financial institution or brokerage is a TurboTax 1099 partner. If it is and you are still having issues, please see the FAQ link provided below for assistance:

    What if I can't import my 1099?

SOLVED: I had the same problem. Closed Turbo Tax. Changed default browser from Brave to Edge. Re-opened TurboTax. Imported as "normal"

I had issues importing Schwab last year, and thought it would've been resolved by now. But still having issues this year. I have a 1099-Composite I want to import. I log into Schwab, accept the "Instruction and Informed Consent to Allow TurboTax to Access Your Account Information", but after tapping "Accept", it takes me back to the login screen with the error "No eligible accounts available to link". Looks like I encountered the same error last year and had to manually enter data. I tried some of the workarounds I saw including switching default browser to Edge. No issues importing from Fidelity. Please advise if this is a TurboTax or Schwab issue.
